“Sprints”, as they are called in the Scrum methodology, aren’t probably called the right thing. You don’t really want to “sprint”. Sprinting is not sustainable in the long term. You don’t actually go that far if you’re trying to sprint repeatedly. People who hike don’t sprint. You don’t marathon by running as fast as possible then stopping.

The point of a sprint is that it’s short, yes, but short doesn’t mean “at an unsustainable pace”. If that particular approach to Agile is meant to be a long-term Management Operating System, it’s not called the right thing. I don’t know what it should be called. The point is that you’re working toward making Minimum Viable Progress that you can then stop and assess, ideally so that your Empirical results will give you the feedback to see if your approach is working.
